  • How to increase sex drive?

    So I was just wondering if there's a way to increase ones sex drive? as I don't feel sexually compelled to get laid anymore, It's been this way for years now and I really think I could go the rest of my years with-out putting my dick in something (btw I'm 24). I don't think it's an injury or a medical reason since I can get it up if I want and get wood in the morning.. I just don't ever feel like going out shagging a woman (I only mentally get this feeling but not physically).

    Also before anyone asks I'm deffo not gay nor get any of these feelings towards men haha

    But seriously I have got to find a way to increase my libido or risk never really wanting sex again, also I don't watch porn anymore at all and edge once a week.

    Try masterbating every day, for being 24 that's kind of strange your sex drive should be pretty high. Im 20 and that's literally all I think about

      Maybe right now you have more important things in your life than getting laid. There is more to life than sex; there's ice cream!

        It might be a combination of your psychology and your diet. Since I don't know you or how you think, I'll give you some natural aphrodisiacs you can start to eat more regularly.

        almonds have been thought of as an aphrodisiac since roman times. So has various forms of fish. Many kinds of berries have been known to increase libido.
        Exercise can get the heart rate up, the blood flowing.
        Maybe you can look at and listen to some strong iconic imagery. Personally, I listen to dead can dance and look at photos by Louis Royo. Not as pornography, but as something to meditate on and enhance my desire.

        You can also look at google for other forms. PE helps with libido too.

          Are you in good shape? If not, hit the weights and eat healthy. Being physically fit has both a physical and psychological effect on your sex drive.
          Start - 5.5 NBPEL, BPEL (wasn't measuring - probably around 6.5), 5.5 MEG.
          Current - 7.5 BPEL,
          5.75 MEG.
          Started 3/2013.

            People always say "diet" and "eat healthy" but no one really understands what people mean by things like that. I get feeling that all that ever does inspire people to eat an extra serving or two of vegetables per week.

            One concrete thing I would recommend (and that has helped me in the past with this very problem) is to focus on your macros. Download an app or program that counts your calories/macros and use it for a week. For everything you eat. Eat normally, then review whether you met all of your macro goals for someone of your sex/height/weight (which usually can tracked using most calorie counter apps.) I struggle to eat enough in general, but especially protein. When I load up on protein (and a bit of fat) my libido goes up within a day.

                  Your mentality is usually going to be the prime dictator of your sex drive. Unless there's some physical issue, It's going to come down to your perception. Eating healthy and staying lean will help a lot, but if your mind isn't in the right place, your sex drive is always going to be limited. There are various herbal remedies that have been known to affect libido. Some if these are Horny Goat Weed, Muira Pauma, Yohimbe, Maca Root, etc... Each of these work through different mechanisms to increase libido. I've tried a lo of these type supplements, not because I need them, but because I'm extremely sexual and like experimenting with them. I can tell you each of their mechanisms of action and which of them affected me the most, but due to variances in physiological makeup, it doesn't necessarily mean they'll work for you. My advice is to experiment with these and see if they help you out any. Just be careful with Yohimbe, as it can increase blood pressure.

                    it could be just mental or possible low T you are kind of young for that but is possible a urologist can test for it

                      Yeah thanks for your input all,

                      I'm in good physical shape since I have been weight training for the past 7 months 5 days a week (no cardio except walking for now) so I make sure to hit my macros now too although I think I need to improve my micronutrients a little but that's getting worked on so all good in that department.

                      I am having a bit of a bad patch at the moment and feeling lower than normal so like many of you said it may just be due to state of mind, which I guess is better than what it could be.. I just have to start thinking positively and work on my social anxiety as hard as it is.

                      As for getting my T tested I will try that one if all else fails as I think it really is a mental block, I guess I was just hopping for a miracle food or something that would give me solid wood when need

                        After having similar issues and trying a ton of supplements, I found that Red Maca worked the best. It took a few weeks to kick in but got me going real well. It is considered a food, and most people take it for a month and give it a week or two rest. You may need to detox yourself... try a master cleanse for 7-10 days or even look at doing a heavy metal detox. We absorb so much awful stuff in our environment, its good to reset our bodies once in a while. Also doing a cleanse is a great challenge for the mind. Just my $.02.

                          yeah, I'm with toadstool. Forget trying to discover the magic combination of herbs/food. Just go have sex. The more sex you have the more you want. Sometimes you just have to "pull-start" your engine before it gets running.

                              Hey bro, im in the same boat as you...and im 23, i only watch porn like once or twice a week and sadly i havent had sex in over a year. And all my friends crave it like crazy after not getting any for a week. I was thinking about taking like VigRX or something for a libido boost.
