  • What are the open questions in PE?

A question for the veteran PE'ers here, since you guys have had years to see ideas come and go, find out what works and what doesn't, etc.

In your opinion, what are the important questions (whether big, small, or growing) that remain to be answered in the world of PE?

Thanks to any who reply for indulging my curiosity!

The most difficult items to put into words, is amount of force.

How hard should I pull ?
      How tightly should I grip/squeeze ?
What should it feel like ?

I still wonder about how much time is really needed to do the work.

PE is addictive. It feels pretty good to work the penis, but do we really need to put so much time per day or week to get the results we seek?

Could 3 days a week do it? Is 20 minutes enough?

I was doing manual stretching and JelQs 3 times/week for 8 months.
I had zero gains in Length and girth.
My girth gains started happening after I started doing 5-6 days/on 1/off of JelQing.
And the best groove was 3 on / 1 off.
Even today , when I am doing 2 days off in a row I am starting losing girth.

          In my opinion
          1 on / 1 off =maintenance of gains
          2 on / 1 off =starting producing gains
          3 on /1 off = better gains
4 on /1 off = depends on the individual
5 on /1 off = depends on the individual
6 or more on = going to the over training side

The best questions in PE are

            1) How much intensity
            2) How much volume
            3) How much frequency

            The best answers are

1)Find out your self because everyone is different
2)Find out your self because everyone is different
3)Find out your self because everyone is different

And this producing a new question

How am I gonna find out it myself

            And the best answer is

Your Pis and your ruler will show you the way

Appreciate the suggestion. I've browsed the list of linked threads in that post before and haven't seen exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for advice or consensus recommendations per se, but wondering about the questions that still elude answer from the perspective of those very experienced.

Another great point! I would imagine the tendency is to scale up, rather than down, one's time and effort investment, making it all the more difficult to find the lower bound of effective training.

^^^ to his point... I just believe I doing the best you can each day to stay consistent but don't sweat it if life happens to shake things up and disrupt your routine. Your PE journey should be ever evolving and the degree of randomness keeps it fresh and prevents the burrito from becoming over conditioned. Just go with the flow of life. One week I'll have only one rest day the other week might have three. Sometimes I rest consecutive days, sometimes it's intermittent. Keep PE a priority but don't stress over it. As long as you are consistently making a point to do something to the burrito the gains will come. To me this is the most effective way to make PE become a part of your lifestyle and you will have less stress and more success this way.

Sounds about right for most habits, non-PE exercise, diet, etc.!

I did 6 months of manual stretching without any results. 5 days a week, about 30-40 mins a day. For me the results came after I started to different exercises.

I wonder how much time per day you do?
