  • What is a rep in jelqs?

    Is a rep in jelqs
    1 left + 1 right stoke = 1 rep?
Or each hand is considered a rep?

I was informed one hand is one rep and been doing the jp90 routine with 150 jelqs and 90 v-jelqs. But the instructions seem to say two hands is 1 rep which means I've been doing 75 jelqs and 45 v-jelqs

I currently count them the way you do but I have a feeling we're wrong.

If so, I don't know how you guys block off enough time to do 300 & 180 w/ stretching lol
    Start 03/23/16
    BPEL: 7.5"
    MEG: 5.25"

    Current

Exactly. I'd be jelqing for 20 minutes. My hand is cramped already as it is

1 REP is BOTH a right & left hand jelq, so you're doing half as many as you think you are.

          Unless you're single and/or unemployed, I don't know how you're blocking off enough time to do -- what I was counting as -- 300 J's and 180 VJ's.....with stretching.

Maybe instead of counting each hand as a rep, they should revise the routines and just tell you to do the actual number. 600 reps instead of 300, but each hand is 1 rep. That would clear that up.

Whenever I do it, it dorsnt seem like it.takes that much time really. I usually take around 45 mins.

I count both hands as one rep.

Here it is for JP 90 at least, on MoS they seem to count it in strokes. I count mine in strokes and go for slow strokes, at least 4 seconds.
                  Start
                  BPEL: 6.75-7"(not a good measurement)
BEG: 5ish (not a good measurement)

                  Current (4/10/2018)
                  BPEL: 8"
                  MSEG: 5.375-5.45"

                  Goal
                  BPEL: 8"+
                  MSEG: 6"
