  • Edging? (confused on the concept and results)

    Hey guys, I am sort of confused on "how" to edge. I know that you masturbate and when your at that point of no return, you kegel and hold it off until it subsides. I can succesfully do this and it feels great without one drop coming out, but this is not the issue. After I do this, it seems my penis loses all motivation to try and cum again. I am left with a dick that is a lot more flexible and doesn't offer pleasure unlike the first time around. I most of the time give up after 5-10 minutes of beating my meat and still not feeling anything. Is this something that I am just going to have to deal with and forget edging or am I missing the point and doing something wrong?

    Also, what are supposed to be the results of edging?

      i think thats good, you just have to keep beating it until you get to that point of no return.
      just keep edging, and just because you feel no sensation doesn't mean its not working, it prolly means that your stamina is raising, and you just need to edge longer..

        I still FEEL my dick, just not much pleasure. Maybe I am overthinking this...

        I can easily beat off until I am about to ejaculate and abruptly stop. And then start again once the feeling subsides. Is this edging? (rather than letting my load go but some how making it come back???)

          you can't let you load out and make it come back, that doesn't make any sense.

          when you edge you have to work with your dick, start and the top part of your dick (right under your glans) and when you feel that you want to cum, just beat your meat a little lower until the "cum feeling" goes away. just keep doing that and when you just cant handle it no more STOP beating your meat. until the feeling goes away. And keep doing this until you can't handle it no more and just want to cum. (but don't never over due it)

          I haven't started edging but i am.

                This makes a lot of sense Pegasus. I have only had it happen a few times but it just feels so weird and I'm glad I know that i need to kegel earlier now.

                    I also have just started to edge and I read edging 101 but I still am a little confused. Are you supposed to try and kegel when you feel your about to cum or just stop and wait a liitle bit. I have tried to do both but when I try to kegel I just seem to speed it up and it shoots out. So I was just wondering what exactly am I doing wrong and how I can fix it.

                      Kegel but don't stop.... keep going, but go lower on your shaft... like the middle... where there are far less nerve endings.

                        I'm researching edging because I do not understand the edging 101 either. A good thorough in depth guide is needed. It is confusing for some reason. Everything makes since until I try to do it and then I'm like WTF? I am doing this wrong. Then I re-read it again and want to forget the whole idea because I'm frustrated now.

                          When you mean kegel are you talking about clinching until it subsides or are you saying when you start to feel it do kegels to try and stop it and push it back down, because it would be hard to hold a kegel for like 20 seconds when your penis is trying to cum.

                              Just had an edging session and it came to me.
                              Any time I started feeling the urge to burst, I would kegel once quickly (then "reverse kegel" just as quickly (if you don't understand this then just go with a quick kegel and the reverse part should come naturally)). I did not hold the kegel, just a quick 1 second or less kegel. And most of the time the urge would disappear for a short duration.
                              Now sometimes it'd get to a point where I had to pull my hand off but I'm guessing I can fix this with more practice.
