  • Please help me out here. Advice needed...

    Hi guys. This isn't PE related, but dick related.

    Look, I have a serious problem: I can't stop jerking off. It's ridiculous. I've been jerking off at least three times a day for the last three weeks!! I don't know what the hell is wrong with me but I can't stop. You know, since I was 13 years old, I've been jerking off practically every day of my life and I'm 23 now. In all these years, the longest time I refrained from masturbation was probably three weeks.

    So really, this can't be healthy. Maybe it's just that my libido is insane. I've asked (single) friends how often they jerk off and they say like, "Maybe twice a week." I've got a lot of free time and so spend too much of the day on the internet, thus I start browsing porn...

    Please, if you did this once and managed to stop yourself, I'd really like to hear your advice. Even though this is anonymous, it's still somewhat embarrassing to type this out.

    I want to get down to just 2 times a week, but if I don't jerk off for even 2, 3 days I'm a goddamn horndog on edge, unable to relax. Then when I fap I'll blow a truck load and it's a huge relief. I'm honestly not making this up. And no, unfortunately I don't have a girlfriend.

      If that's the worst thing you're doing, you're OK. I'd advise you to jelq instead of jerk off. It's more productive.
      To me, there is no shame in PE. It's no different than when guys first began to lift weights/bodybuild and it was a fringe thing. Now it's mainstream.

        Here is a good technique, I got it from one of my mates off here actually.

        Get an elastic band, a medium-thick one and put it round your wrist. Whenever you get that feeling in your mind that you want to jerk off or get feelings of watching porn or any other undesirable thoughts pull the band back hard and let it really twang your wrist. Of course this will hurt for a few seconds but it is a great technique. Your mind will make a connection between the thoughts and the uncomfortable feeling of pain and therefore make you think about them less.

        Try it out for a few weeks. PM me or reply back here cos I want to hear how you got on!

          I think I may have jerked it three times in a day but that was YEARS AND YEARS ago when I was in my mid to late teens. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking care of that once per day........three times??? That to me is a bit excessive. Find something else to get involved in. If you've got that much free time on your hands, try doing something constructive with your time. What do you like to do above and beyond jackin' off? You go to school? You work?
          It's a tough job being good looking and hung :-)

            Lol, believe it or not, I'm an MSc student!!!! Hahaha...

            But I did my BSc in London and now I'm in a fairly boring town...

            Still that's no excuse. I dunno man, I just jerk off a lot. I love the feeling. Not a bad looking guy, but have REALLY shit game with the ladies so that's life.

              Okay man, let's get it down to once per day first. In my mind that was also too much... what do the rest of you think? Still, of course that's much better than three.

                  i was in the same boat as you. Ive got it down to 1 in 2 weeks, and that too only if i get carried away while edging. The first week of abstinance was extremly tough, I was getting turned on by any moving object. After that one week however, my body automatically adjusted its level of horniness, and now it really isnt a problem. What really motivated me to stop was the general idea that the more I ejaculate, the slower my gains (if any) would come about. I'm pretty confident that a good icentive will really help you out here.

                    hehe behaviorism and punishment. can lead to weird fetishes, wouldn't recommend that at all lol

                    I do something like NSF001 does. No jerking off will be better for bodybuilding and for PE
                    Makes you think positive, adds any placebo effect that may be, and decreases your horniness. I know because I used to jerk off 7 times a day, and at that time, I HAD a girlfriend, but she couldn't cope with my libido =(

                      One thing that has always helped me keep my libido at a manageable level, is to exercise like a maniac 5 to 6 days a week. In the end, all you got going for you in terms of that sexual edge is a vast amount of unused energy. Burn some of that energy off doing something else, like doing a max-out set of push-ups every 45 minutes during your working hours. Especially @ 23yrs old, you could get in phenomenal shape by doing calisthenics a couple of times a day without much risk of overtraining, since you have such naturally high levels of testosterone and GH. Back when I was 20yrs old, I had a similar problem as yours and got it under control by working my way up to doing the following:

                      Morning: 6 sets of 30 push-ups first thing in the morning as soon as I got out of bed.

                      Afternoon: 12 Supersets of 25 push-ups & 12 pull-ups

                      Evening: 4 sets of 25 push-ups about an hour before bed.

                      By doing this, not only was I able to bring down my masturbation to 2 to 3 times a week, but I got as ripped and chiseled as Brad Pitt during Fight Club. I became one super-lean, muscular motherfucker, which ended up also improving my luck with the girls wherever I went.

                      Also, I must mention that this happened back in the early 90's, where access to porn was not a couple of clicks of a mouse away like it is today. Back then you either borrowed or bought some video tapes plus you needed to plan it all out so that you could have the privacy to use the TV & VCR, so it was quite easy for me to keep porno from being a problem to begin with since it required a lot more work than it does these days. Lay off the porn or at least keep it to a minimum and it will make a huge difference in your situation. I've also found that getting hooked on porn can be detrimental to your "luck" with the ladies, because it actually becomes a maladaptive quick-fix, where you get your rocks off and it kills some of the motivation needed to go out there and face the ebb & flow of the dating world in order to find the real thing: A WOMAN.

                              I was a late starter, never really saw the point of masturbation at all (didn't help being cock-blocked in an all-boys school), so never really knew what I could and couldn't do.
                              When I finally got the girl of my dreams at 22, I was a complete waste, and (she was more experienced than me obv.) it frustrated her sexually.
                              I 100% put it down to not practicing. So don't treat it like a crime - they way I see it is that you boys have got years on me. *goes to try and last more than 3 mins*
                              From what i've seen so far anyway, with stretching and jelqing, I never feel the need to reach PONR anymore, maybe i'll get onto edging soon.
