  • LateBloom's completed JP90 Review

Yesterday was day 90! Coming in my goals in order were EQ, size gains, stamina. I followed the program pretty religiously save for a few modifications like swapping out V-jelqs for regulars (couldn't make the V's "work" for me) and eventually around the halfway mark I simply stopped counting jelqs and went by the clock. I should also add that I've been completely porn-free during this experiment!
My program DID take a long time to complete and I did lengthen it as the months went on but this is basically what the timeline looked like by the end:

10 min warmup with a microwaveable heating bag
15 min manual stretches as described in program
30 min jelqing with 5 second reps at least
    20 min "edging" session
    10 min warmdown.

RESULTS (The good, the bad, and the curious)

I gained over a 1/2" in length when all was said and done. Possible that some of that is EQ but I never had difficulty getting hard - just maintaining it, so I feel my measurements were pretty consistent. I didn't gain in girth but so be it.
As for EQ I'd say there was a definite improvement in month 2 compared to month 1 but truthfully things seemed to have regressed a bit again towards the end here. I do still get "morning wood" most of the time compared to NEVER when I first started but the erections don't seem to be as strong or last as long as they did only a few short weeks ago. Also my refractory period def seems to be taking longer suddenly too, which is disappointing. The only thing I've changed in month 3 is abandoning kegels and incorporating RKs plus lots of hindi squats - so very possible that is the culprit?

WHY did I make the above switch? Well - my sexual stamina DID take a hit during this process. I was certainly no sex god but prior to this I could always last at LEAST 5 minutes. Now...no. Sometimes I'm good for 20+ but more often than not now I'm dying 2 minutes in. That's new. Perhaps this is a result of all the kegeling and kegel holds I was doing during months 1 and 2? Helped my EQ probably but there's a dark side of that I guess.

I do NOT feel as though my pelvic floor is tight and I don't feel any IK's during sex or edging so who knows - not really sure what my plan of attack is moving fwd to be honest.

*Another interesting observation that is counter intuitive - I always found that my PI's and EQ were best around day 4 or 5 of PE'ing in a row. When I'd take the 2 rest days and had to start back on day 1 or 2 of PE'ing that's when I'd lose the morning wood and edging/jelqing would be the most challenging EQ-wise.*

Regardless, I thank everyone for the advice I've been reading during this journey and I certainly plan to continue but...thoughts?

Hey man. Congrats on the gains. Half an inch is something most guys take months and months to reach! I would say keep on going if you feel like it's working still. Or try something new to spark some new growth. Just be aware gains do slow down after the first newbie gains.

As far as lasting in bed. My only guess would be now that your EQ is higher than before you're probably more sensitive. I would keep the stamina work up with kegels and RKs to keep a balanced pelvic floor and continue to improve with edging. Congrats again!

Hey I'm not complaining, and thanks again to all.

It IS curious however why my EQ has taken a solid dip in the last 2 or 3 weeks. I haven't been doing anything different (again, other than adding these squats really) and EQ was my primary goal so it's a little frustrating but I'll keep plugging along and hope for the best?

Unless it's wise to simply take a break I'll likely do another 30 days of this same program and see if things get better/worse.

Can't explain the dip in eq other then it might've just got tired. Maybe a small rest is needed. Or a small change in routine. Try to figure out what in your routine is causing it. Good luck either way with whatever you do.

I agree I think a small break or change in routine. Im stilla beginner in all this, but I mean, when you lift weights in the gym you don't just go all out every day, week etc etc, you eventually have to take a week off from certain lifts for recovery.

                Update for those interested:
I took 6 days off after completing JP90 but have since picked it right back up again as of 10 days ago. My EQ seems to have bounced back - perhaps due to rest, but I suspect it's more likely due to quitting RK's and Hindi squats cold turkey, and re-initiating regular kegels during the day.

I know some preach against that but I really feel my pelvic floor is fine and any stamina inconsistencies can be improved with proper edging.

I've yet to gain any girth but am going to stick with this same program for at least 1 more month then reassess.

Congratulations on your gains LateBloom, great to see JP90 worked out for you. I don't think you necessarily need to stick to that routine now. After 3 months, your penis should be sufficiently conditioned that you can move on to some more advanced exercises if you like, especially if you want to focus on girth.

Not gonna agree here, why change a winning team? As long as you are gaining stick with your routine. Most members here prefer length over girth, since the bigger the girth the harder the lenght seems to come. But everyone is different ofcourse.

PE is a journey, take it slow, let the exercises take effect.

If anything you could try to make your routine a bit more intents, upping the stretch intensity, jelqing with a tighter grip or at a higher erection %. Edge for a longer duration.

So much is possible, just dont jump into newer exercises while you are still gaining.

Well said my man!!! I look at other stuff, think about doing this, or that. Well, at the end of it all, I only added 1 more excersise to what's been working!!! I just can't stop it until I know for sure I won't be growing anymore from what gave me my gains!!

                          Hey man,

Just seen your post mentioning you didn't have good EQ always, more in the second month and after 4-5 days of straight jelqing. I have been concerned about my EQ because I only seem to get good EQ twice a week or so. I also started with jp90 but gave myself negative PI's so lowered the intensity. I have seen no gains yet though and I am well over 2 months into the routine... Would you recommend that I continue with what I am doing knowing that i only get good EQ twice a week? Thanks and congrats on the gains of course :P

Hello W.I.P., apologies for the confusion. I completely agree that you should stick with a routine if it's working, I wasn't making the point that the original poster should move on to more advanced exercises, rather that he could if he decided he wanted to try to make girth gains more quickly (by focusing on girth specific exercises).
